Esmé Patterson at Sultan Room
It’s always a treat seeing Esmé. And it was wonderful meeting Hillary @bathtubcig. The show was delightful, and I loved the fact that Esmé brought peppers and cucumbers from her very own garden to give away, but the most memorable thing about the night was going to the bar afterward and playing dare. I had to stand on a chair and scream “I FUCKING LOVE CHEESE” and sing New York, New York as Liza Minnelli. But I’m grateful I didn’t have to sing the national anthem or go up to strangers and do weird stuff.
